Clean Beauty Finds for the Minimalist
Since the word "chaos" seems to sum up my life lately, I've been devoting significantly less time and energy to my beauty routine. Fortunately, I've found a few amazing products that help me stick with my commitment to "clean beauty" and pack a punch in terms of function and versatility.
Concealer/Foundation
I love Rose Marie Swift 'Un'Cover Up. This creamy, hydrating and healing concealer brightens the under-eye area and evens out blotchy skin tone. It's super blend-able, and seems to melt into skin flawlessly.
Blush/Lip Color
W3ll People Multi-Use Cream Stick's 'nude rose' color is excellent on cheeks AND lips. The color is sheer (mistake proof!) and gives a serious glow.
If you've never visited Lunaroma (on Pine Street in Burlington, Vermont), it's a real treat! Its wonderfully blended essential oils and esthetically pleasing store, make for a wonderful shopping experience. And it's always good to support local :) Lunaroma's Rose Otto Lip Love has real staying power and gives my lips the slightest hint of pink. The Rose essential oil is very uplifting and balancing.
Perspiration Coverup
LaVanilla The Healthy Deodorant's 'Vanilla Blackberry' scent is divine. The underarm area is very porous and contains lots of lymph nodes. More and more studies show we should not be putting harsh chemicals there. It's difficult to find a natural deodorant that works, but LaVanilla really does it for me!
